Foraging

Meet at the Kitchen Theatre entrance at 10.15AM for a departure at 10.30 sharp! Guests should bring a basket and foraging knife if they have one and suitable footwear.

Children over the age of 5 are welcome, but please note the terrain is not suitable for buggies or prams. Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

The walk will end back at the theatre for the presentation at 12.30 with the foragers and is also open for visitors to come and watch.

Nick Nairn Riverside Restaurant

Celebrity chef and restaurateur Nick Nairn is heading up a VIP restaurant and creating a bespoke menu which showcases the best of Scottish produce and game at the GWCT Scottish Game Fair; set in a breathtaking waterside location perched on the bank of the River Tay. Nick was the youngest Scottish chef to win a Michelin star in 1991 and found fame on the BBC’s popular TV shows Ready Steady Cook and Great British Menu. Nick has created a bespoke menu which is a suitably country-and-Caledonian inspired affair.

Camping for Four Nights

Situated by the idyllic River Tay, the camp site will open on the Thursday morning prior to the GWCT Scottish Game Fair and close at noon on the Monday. Camping does not include entry to the GWCT Scottish Game Fair; please don't forget to order your entry tickets. Camping plots are assigned on a first come first served basis.
